Mountfield Road

Mountfiled Road is a 200 year old, 2 story cottage situated within London's "Queen of the Suburbs". The key aim for this project was to maximize the space, whilst maintaining a minimal and clutter free environment.

It was important to the client to retain certain elements from the initial cottage, whilst giving the home a contemporary twist. Our carefully curated colour palette played a large role in achieving her vision. It included mellow beige tones, which in conjunction to the warm lighting in most rooms provides the user with the warmth associated with a cottage. Keeping some of the wood exposed on the beams, as well as including some wooden furniture was a conscious choice to bring that contemporary cottage vision to life.
